TMD Records artist Tenza have been receiving rave review from her recently released mixtape "Tenzalicious" which was hosted by Austrian based all female sound system " Badda Pum".
According to Tenza management team, the mixtape as being well received by fans from around the world and have already amass over 9000 downloads over the internet and Via Tenza blackberry App, to go with the handing out of over 10000 hardcopies in countries such as Gambia, India and Japan in just 3 weeks since it as being released.
Tenza management team stated that the mixtape is a promotional tool for the artist who as being getting limited radio plays in countries such as Jamaica and United Kingdom, due to the political stigma of greed that is destroying the reggae music industry.
Kym-ling from TMD Records also stated that the locked of Radio plays for Tenza, as nothing to do with the quality of the music as radio djs in these countries are no longer playing music for the qualities or the love for reggae/dancehall music but for the greed of money, that as become a cancer to the dying genre of reggae/dancehall music.
It as become impossible to gain radio plays as these djs are charging close to $200,000 Jamaican dollars per month to play a song on their radio show which only hears once per week which is not value for money or is effective as a mixtape which the fans can get hear and Understand the musically Journey of the Dancehall Boss Lady Tenza or any other artists who uses the medium to get their music to their fans.
Tenza have enjoy outstanding 2012 which was cut short in December with a breaking at her house where she have lost her travel documents and home studio equipments, which have cost her to cancel a number of booking over the festive period. Tenza is now set to tour Gambia in February 2013 along side Petah Margon from Margon Heritages.
